Standard Can I use clip pedals for trial stuff?

I have been using clip pedals on my mtb for quite a long time. Recently I decided to try to learn some trial tricks, like hopping, bunnyhopping, wheelies and endos etc. I managed to learn some tricks, like hopping and lifting both wheels or lifting rear wheel, quite easily, but I am not sure whether I should move on with my clip pedals. When I jump on the bike I feel that I pull the rear wheel up with my clips. I noticed that guys in trial videos and guys who ride BMXs around our city do not use clip pedals. I feel that hopping I managed to learn is strongly related to my clips.
I want to hear your advice, guys, - is it the good way to learn bike tricks with clip pedals? Is it possible to do all tricks with them?

More of that, I am afraid to try making wheelies, because I am feeling that I may fall back too easily and it would be difficult to remove my feet in time from clips.

The only way to lern "true" Bunnyhops or just plain jumps is to lern it without clip pedals. Right now, you're probably just pulling the bike with your feet clipped to the pedal in the air. And this is a big difference to regular jumping.
Also, your concern on safety is right. In case of losing control over your bike, you're always better on with platform pedals, because you can remove your feet easily.
If I were you, I'd remove the clip pedals and get platforms (actually every trialer i know uses platforms).
And about your wheely problem:
during the wheely, always keep one finger on the rear brake. When you realize, that you're too far on your back - just pull it and the front wheel will come down.
