I was looking at some sites the other day and saw some pics of some awsome DH bikes real awsome, anyway being in Australia we have a crap range but do you know the bikes in the pics, KARPIEL, BROOKLYN, SPOOKY and CORTINA. The bikes lood mad!!! I saw on pic of a home made bike 12inches on the back and 9inches on the front. The bike was designed like a motorbike frame it had AVALANCHE forks.

but spooky bikes are not built any more i think! theyve an other name now... i dont no it! a friend of me has a spooky metalhead - looks nice, but its nothing very special.

I have a spooky bandwagon which is also the coolest hartail in the world.

Spooky went under a few years ago. They handmade all tyheir frames from beginning to end in house and only hired lifetime bike industry specialists...they were a great oure bike company and they will be sorely missed. Their welder, Frank the welder, is still making some of their reames...the metalhead being one of them, and he has even improved it AND he offers it cheaper than it was when spooky was around...about $750 USD. I believe that you can go to ftwindustries.com to get one, or just search 'frank the welder' on Google.

PS I own a Bandwagon (a stripped down Metalhead without adjustable wheelbase) and it is the best bike I have owned.
