Riding company in Leoben dh/xc - JMAutio - 2006-09-18
I decided to post here as the english forum seems pretty quiet.
I'm a Finnish exchange student coming to Leoben for the winter semester and I'm looking for riding company. I'm taking both my bikes with me, a dh bike and a hardtail am/trail/xc/whatever bike.
Are there any regular group rides in Leoben to join? I'm also planning to visit Maribor/Afritz/Shöckl on October, depending how are they open and how is the weather.
I'm making a small tour in Austrian DH parks before going to Leoben, I'm planning to visit Leogang, Schladming and Saalbach next week. On my way to Austria I'll stop for a day in Bischofsmais. I didn't get any of my riding friends to join me on the trip, so if you see a lonely rider on a white Foes Mono, feel free to come and chat, english or hochdeutsch
I'd be very glad to ride with locals.

Well I haven't got any exact plans, but I'm aiming to Leoben on sunday 1.10, so I'll try to spend wednesday 27 - saturday 30 at leogang and schladming, two days on both. I'll probaply be in bischofsmais at saturday 23, and at saalbach on 24&25 and keep a rest day 26.
I'm also open to recommendations where to go, Schladming and Leogang are the places I want to visit, but I'm not sure if there would be a better place to check out than Saalbach?
