4X Gasselsdorf
Slovenian riders didn't make it into final four at Austrian 4X race in Gasselsdorf. Nicolas Siedl of Corratec won in front of Thomas Bubla. Anže Cerin (BVG Gulc GT) was 6th after 3rd in qualification, Luka Verstovšek (MTB Trbovlje) was 7th and Borut Rožic (KK Tropovci Freerider) 8th in men's elite race.
Slovenian riders reported that some important UCI rules were ingnored during the final. After not being able to advance into the final four also because some of them were not allowed to pick their starting positions according to their qualifying places, they coasted down the track in protest in the consolation final to give 5th place away to a local rider. Not likely they are falling for another local Austrian race any time soon.
