Rahmenfrage: RM6/7 oder Switch Canuck?

bei den 17 cm bin ich mir eh nich so sicher
auf jeden Fall hatte das 07er Switch 5 kg mit Fox DHX Dämpfer

Die alten wogen so 4,5 kg

hätte mir mal selber fast eins gekauft
war mir dann aber einfach zu schwer

Such doch mal nach nem Santa Cruz Heckler

EDIT:
Habs grad gefunden
Ab 2007 hat das Switch 178 mm FW
2005 war nen 190er Dämpfer und 15 cm FW
Vorher war nen 172 mm Dämpfer verbaut, wofür es wohl nur schwer Ersatz gibt

Conditions for warranty claim:
- Absence of an impact: the frame should not show any damage under normal conditions of use.
- The bicycle must be used in accordance with its instructions for use and regularly maintained by our retail network. An authorized COMMENCAL retailer must duly validate the maintenance card enclosed herewith.
- The original parts must not have been replaced.

Weiters:
The warranty is void if:
- The damage has been caused by a natural phenomenon.
- The bicycle has been purchased from a non-authorized retailer.
- The bicycle has not been entirely assembled by an authorized COMMENCAL retailer.
- A non-authorized retailer has repaired the bicycle.
- Its original purchaser no longer owns the bicycle.
- The instructions contained in the user’s manual have not been respected.
- There is damage caused by an accident, misuse or abuse.
- The product has suffered damage for which a third party is liable or as a result of an intentional fault.
- The regular inspections recommended in the user’s manual have not been done.
- Parts not supplied with the bicycle by COMMENCAL, or not provided for in the user’s manual, have been used.
- The bicycle has been used for purposes other than those for which it has been conceived.
- The bicycle or the assembled components have been subjected to abuse, neglect, and abnormal and/or excessive use or have suffered an accident.
- The frame or the components of the bicycle have been altered (e.g. polished, scoured, sandpapered, cold hammered, shot blasted, pumiced, ground, metal brushed, filed, soldered, brazed, pierced, anodized or chromed, structurally or mechanically altered or added to, etc). Please note that internal corrosion of chromo-steel frames is not covered by the warranty.
- The original seatpost has been replaced.
- The frame is too big or too small for the customer.
- The bicycle has continued to be used while damaged.
- The bicycle has been used for competitions (i.e. races) or for any other commercial activity, eg bicycle rental, messenger service, or surveillance (including police surveillance) etc.
- The bicycle has undergone alterations of components or the replacement of parts by parts other than those initially installed or recommended by COMMENCAL Bicycles.
- The bicycle has been used on «extreme» trails, such as those in MTB videos, trial circuits, ramps, performing

Ich machs euch nicht leicht, und mir auch nicht ;-)

wo ist das problem? du hast dich eben in das rocky mountain verguckt. wenn du bereit bist die nachteile (hohes gewicht) in kauf zu nehmen, würd ich mich jetzt auf die suche nach nem switch machen.

vernunftsentscheidungen sind fade :p

Hehe die Frage ist nun, wie weit wird das in der Praxis von Commencal wirklich so wie da beschrieben umgesetzt, überprüft usw...

Also Federweg beim Switch gestaltet sich so:
2004/2005 15cm bei 190mm EInbaulänge.

2006/2007 18cm bei 200mm Einbaulänge Dämpfer.
Rahmengewicht bei 16,5" 4,1 kg ohne Dämpfer.
2008 eingestellt.

dürft´ nicht so heiß gegessen werden wie´s gekocht wird... kommt aber wahrscheinlich auf den Importeur an.

Also mein gerissener Supreme DH Rahmen wird mir anscheinend ersetzt... allerdings muss man da scheinbar etwas längere Zeit einplanen ok - kann mich damit abfinden weil ja z Zt grad auch Modell(jahres)wechsel ist.

In UK dürfts auch recht problemlos gehen (auf Commencal Owners Club gelesen)

aber die Garantiebestimmungen lesen sich schon deftig - hat wahrscheinlich ein übereifriger Anwalt geschrieben wie gesagt: ned zu ernst nehmen, nett und bestimmt argumentieren falls was sein sollte...

edit: zu den Rockies sag´ ich jetzt besser nix - aber muss eh jeder selber entscheiden was er sich antun will

einfach paar gute fahrer anstellen und in bekannten videos "auftreten lassen"...
schon kann man "Alles" verkaufen, weils ja so "kultig" ist

Damn wenn des wirklich so is wie s da steht dann braucht Commencal eh keine Garantie auf den Rahmen geben, weil man eh immer selber schuld sein muss.

Ich frag mich echt wie genau die des mit den Originalparts nehmen, wenn man z.B andere Griffe raufmacht

Was unterscheidet einen normalen Händler von einem Commencal Händler-is ja iwie diskriminierend
